Default *Temporary Maintenance*

Due to the recent attack from a spam robot, we're not accepting new registrations until things settle down a bit. I'm trying my best to win my first battle ever against this horrifying creature, so please understand if I'm a bit slow at this. Also, any advices from any of you guys will be very appreciated.

If you absolutely need to register now for some reason, you can e-mail me with your "full name", and I will set up an account for you. Just use the Contact Us link at the bottom.

Thanks for your patience,

DCS Forum users,

I thought I figured out how to fight those spam robots, but it looks like they are still in the system. Therefore, I've closed up the registration once again until I clean up the forums.

If you're a guest and would like to register, please e-mail me using the "contact us" link at the bottom of the pages.

Best,

I admin several vb's.

All you have to do is set the registration process so it requires that new registrants answer a question. It stops registration bots dead in their tracks.

An example of a question would be: How many letters are the in the word Cine? Or What is the 3 letter name of a high resolution digital videocamera line that is also the color of Ferrari's? So you get the idea....

I just deleted 44 spam messages in my inbox

We only get 1 human spammer registrant a week now, and using the new posts feature, we delete their 1st spam post, and block their IP.
